Congratulations, Alan, on a fabulous idea. It's so great to know that we can all get in touch with each other and are plugged in. I just got back from ten days in Israel and am still nursing a jet lag. It was a fabulous experience, a business trip for the foundation to look into our projects over there. Saw 25 people and talked and listened to high ranking and regular folks. One of many moving moments: we have a program to train 30 Palestinians and Israelis as mediators and arbitrators on the local level, to try to resolve tensions before they escalate or even have to gotinto the formal court system. Twelve came to the U.S,or two weeks in 'september and had a n indepth training time with some of the best people in America. Well I invited them all for dinner, and one of them, who couldn't get out of Bethlehem, because of the tensions, jumped a wall, walked through a field and walked all the way to Jerusalem for dinner. "Why", I asked. "Because this group is important to me ," he answered. More later.
